Ever wonder what it was like for Greg after Rose disappeared and left him alone with Steven, cause i sure do? Like, I know in time the gems come around (obviously), but they would probably be very sad and scared, and unsure exactly what Steven was a first.
Garnet would most likely be the first gem to come around after losing Rose, followed by Amethyst then Pearl, but I imagine that first night alone with Steven being a very conflicting time for Greg.
On a different note, I'm still supporting the theory that Steven was never a "baby" in the traditional sense. Rather, when the time came, Rose transformed into Steven at a younger age than he is in the rest of the series. We already know that Steven's age can fluctuate because of his gem, so I think it's very possible that Steven may only look 10-12, when actually he's only been around for a few year. But hey, that's just a theory.
On that note, has anyone else wondered what the gestation period of a gem-human hybrid would be?
